MPropulsor Yellow Moly Old/warm snow -5>0
MACH Starting Block, Molybdenum version for old, dirty and artificial snow.
Old warm snow Air temperature -5>0
The blocks are powders that are coagulated with paraffin. The difference between blocks and powders lies in their application. They are designed for "scratching." This means the material doesn't need to be heated to extremes (as with powders), which benefits the tension of the ski or snowboard. The wax from a Machblok will therefore retain its effectiveness significantly longer than a spray.
By "scratching," MACH is only applied to the top of the base. Consequently, less MACH is deposited on the ski, which can be beneficial when combining HMach, accelerator, and spray wax. We always try to control the amount of MACH (as well as with fluoro) under the ski.
1. Brush the surface with a nylon brush to prepare it for the Machblok. This should be done after scraping off any solid or liquid wax. Repeat this process about 10 times.
2. Chalk the block onto the base of your ski or snowboard, being careful not to apply too much. Typically, a 15g block can be used for approximately 50 pairs of skis. Applying too much is wasteful and offers no benefit.
3. Take a natural or synthetic cork block and work it back and forth to incorporate the propulsioner into the base. Continue rubbing until most of it is incorporated into the base.
4. Brush the base surface with a horsehair brush to polish it. Remove excess propulsion agent. Repeat this process about 10 times.
